Description

Antique cast iron receipt spike, featuring a tall central steel spindle mounted on a hexagonal pyramidal base decorated on each panel with a raised scrolling foliate design. These spikes were a common fixture in shops, offices, and kitchens for holding paid receipts, order tickets, or notes. Measures approximately 4.5" H x 3" W.

Condition: Overall good vintage condition. Wear commensurate with age. See photos. We do our best to examine each item closely, but small flaws or imperfections can be missed.
