Sterling silver photo frame with a plain, clean-lined rectangular border, stamped on the reverse with a sterling mark alongside a maker's mark consistent with the Webster Company, an American silversmiths' firm known for producing fine sterling tableware and picture frames through the 20th century. The frame retains its original purple velvet easel back, a classic presentation style for dresser and desk photo frames of the period. A charming detail: at some point the easel strut's hinge gave way, and a previous owner cleverly repaired it using a small mother-of-pearl button as an improvised pivot, a sweet bit of handmade ingenuity that adds character and a story to the piece. Condition:

Good vintage condition. Wear commensurate with age, including light surface tarnish and scattered scratches consistent with handling and display (see photos). The easel strut has a later hand-repair: a mother-of-pearl button has been used as an improvised hinge/pivot where the original hinge failed (see photos). Frame stands securely on the easel back.
