Description

Hand-carved wooden cat figure in a seated pose, featuring a naturally striped, tiger-like grain pattern in warm honey and dark walnut tones, with simple incised facial features including almond-shaped eyes, whiskers, and pointed ears. The tail curls around the front paws to complete the silhouette, with a lighter stain variation adding to the natural striped effect. This style of folk-carved animal figure is popular with collectors of primitive and tourist wood carvings for its bold graphic linework and natural wood tone variation. No maker's mark is present. Measures approximately 8" H x 4" L x 2.75" W.
