The spine reads "Emerson's Essays" in matching gilt lettering. The title page confirms it was published in New York by the Little Leather Library Corporation, the same publisher behind the widely distributed "Little Leather Library" miniature classics of the 1920s; "Miniature Library" appears to be a variant series name used by the same company. Emerson's essays, foundational texts of American Transcendentalism, make this a nice small addition for collectors of miniature books, American literature, or early 20th century publishing curiosities, and it displays well alongside other titles from the same series.
