Hand-blown art glass vase in a warm amber/caramel tone, blown into a bulbous onion-form body that rises into a tall, flared trumpet neck. The surface carries a mottled, feathered "tortoiseshell" pattern in dark brown, swept diagonally from the neck down into the body — a decorative glass technique achieved by rolling or layering colored glass particles into the molten form before final shaping. The piece has a pontil mark on the underside, consistent with hand-finishing at the base. Given the tortoiseshell-glass technique's long popularity with both European and American glasshouses from the late 19th century onward and its continued use by studio glassblowers today, a specific maker or exact date isn't confirmed from the photos alone.
