Pair of hand-thrown stoneware cruets/bottles with a speckled tan-gray glazed body, a brown rim and pouring spout, and bold hand-painted geometric decoration in black — vertical stripe bands paired with columns of black polka dots, with one bottle featuring a small chevron/heart accent within its stripe. The underside of one bottle retains its original gold foil "OMC" label, identifying the pair as products of the Otagiri Mercantile Company (OMC), a mid-20th-century importer known for distinctive Japanese-made stoneware with bold, graphic hand-painted decoration. Measures H: 5.37", W: 2.25", L: 4.5" each. A nice pair for kitchenware and OMC/Otagiri collectors, whether displayed or used as oil and vinegar cruets.

Condition Report:

Good vintage condition, wear commensurate with age. The vinegar cruet shows a visible chip to the rim. No other chips or cracks noted to either bottle. The rims show a naturally rough, unglazed texture consistent with the stoneware finish rather than damage. One bottle retains its gold foil OMC label; the other shows only a residual paper label remnant.
