Description:

A pair of small studio pottery cat figurines, each depicting a curled, sleeping cat with its tail wrapped around its body. Both are glazed in a mottled turquoise blue with scattered dark speckling, a glaze effect achieved through mineral content or applied speckling agents during firing, over an unglazed reddish terracotta body left exposed on the base. No maker's mark is visible on either piece.

Condition Report:

Good vintage condition, wear commensurate with age. No visible chips or cracks. Light surface wear to the unglazed bases consistent with age and handling.
