Description

Pair of hollow, hand-built conical clay bells in a black clay, Mexican folk art. Each topped with a sculpted half-figure bust — one winged with hair falling to the shoulders, the other plain-haired with arms crossed at the chest. Interior of each bell shows coil/pinch construction; one retains its clapper, a small rolled clay ball suspended by cord through a pierced hole at the figure's base.
